I'm still confused about Bill being able to be out in the sunlight. Was it because he was covered in Sookie's blood? Was it because of the amount as he basically drained her? Bill has had Sookie's blood before. Towards the end of Season 1 he went out in the sun to save her from Rene and he fried. He'd had Sookie's blood then, so what's up??

Sam, *whew* you've got your hands full with them Mickens. I loved every bit of that storyline in this episode!

Yeah. I am guessing that Bill could withstand the sun a little longer due to the amount of he drained. With all the revelations with Sookie, I am wondering what kind of powers Jason is hiding(I am sure since you read the books you know lol ).

To me, they hinted that Jason and Sookie aren't blood related. He has a blood type she does not...Is she really sure her parents are her biological parents etc. I know how it goes in the books, but AB has deviated enough to leave himself a bunch of wiggle room.

I think they are blood related just that Sookie got the "gift" and Jason dumb ass is, well, just dumb. dunce

I think Bill tolerated the sun because of how much of Sookie's special blood he ingested. Just like how humans get super-strong when they take vampire blood.

If he wasn't staked, decapitated or burned up....he ain't dead. Like they said, when a vamp gets dead, it's messy. Franklin didn't make the big splat ala Lorena or ol' whatshisface from season 1. He'll be back....

This episode was definitely less intense than the past 2 episodes, but it certainly set up TONS of good stuff!!!

R.I.F.D. (Rest in Final Death) Lorena rose You were fun, bat-shit craziness...but you had to go!

R.I.F.D. Magistrate- Russell, you are a rebel & bat-shit crazy & I can't wait to see what happens to you!!!

woot! Pam is okay!!!! She was saved!! excited

I really want to know what Hadley whispered to Eric! I REEEEEEALLY want to know. They did that very well! Yeah inquiring minds wanna know dammit!! It was also cool 2 see eric and the queen starting 2 bleed cause they hadn't slept

I wouldn't look to much in2 that so much because they don't just burst into flames, and he did have smoke coming out of him but it was kind of funny when he realized that he was starting to burn and he said "Oh damn!" and just took off lol

I love Jason, but his insistence that he be made a cop RIGHT NOW, is irritating the shit outta me. He came through for Sookie though. Good brother!! I agree with the insitance but it's funny as hell to see him trying 2 interogate lol the way he put his ear through the bars was hilarious!!

I love Tara, Alcide & Lafayette in this episode. They didn't do much, but what they did was great! 1st episode of the series without Arlene either

Sam, *whew* you've got your hands full with them Mickens. I loved every bit of that storyline in this episode!

Hoyt...watch out for them biscuits!! giggle Hell I wanted one!! lol the height differential cracks me up tho between those to

I don't think we've seen the last of Franklin. He wasn't staked, put out in the sun or decapitated. It will take a minute for him to get over getting his skull bashed in, but I think we'll see him again soon.

Chocolate1 highfive I can't stand Anna Paquin either. The way she was tip-toeing in her dream. ill Like she's some kind of ballerina princess. YUCK There are times she gets on my nerves as well but if that's how the character really is being naive at times, she pulls it off

AnckSuNamun you're a freak.... tease j/k!! I loves me some Eric. mushy

Only 5 more episodes! bawl

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

glad that he is deviating somewhat cause u get more storylines from other characters where in the books it's all from sookie's p.o.v.

I just went looking around to see if I could find anything. Apparently at the True Blood panel at Comic-Con someone suggested casting Bruce Campbell as Bubba and the rumor went from there. Originally Alan Ball had said that while he wanted to bring Bubba in, he was hesitant to do it because it had the potential to go really wrong and be cheesey.

Omg if he could get Bruce Campbell to do it that would be great!!!

AB has said that Bubba is not going to be in the series because it would be too much cheesy with an Elvis impersonator. I always thought it would be great to bring him in, but never show his face...kinda like Wilson on "Home Improvement", but cooler.

falloff

As it stands, AB has deviated so far from the stories that bringing Bubba in would be a stretch.

Funniest exchange in the episode for me:

Lafayette (to Jason): Last time you came to me all shaky like this, you wanted to buy some V.

Jason: Oh, no. I told you, that shit's behind me. I just need some meth.

Lafayette: What?!
