Dreams dont' usually make sense.. they say that dreams are unconcious thoughts... If you think about certain things in your dreams it usually stems fromthings that were on your mind the previous day or days... If you really sit down and analyze them.. and sit and think about certain things you can pin point out, you will see it... They are usually things that you have breifly thought about or saw... I usually wake up and think why did i dream of that or what did that mean..and if i really think about it i will say well i saw that today, or that came to my head today.. There are website that you can look up dreams.. It is fun to check out anyway

I totally agree. Sometimes when I can't articulate an idea, vision, thought in consciousness, I have found that my mind will find a way to work it out subconsciously.

I keep a note pad near my bed, and if I ever wake up remembering a dream, I'll jot down as much as I can remember and try to see what's going on in my mind. Sometimes it's an inferior reflection of my waking world, but there have been rare moments where I found solutions to problems that I just couldn't seem to solve while awake.

The best example was when I had to write an essay and was suffering serious writer's block. The deadline was upon me (the following day) and I must have fallen asleep with this weighing heavily on my mind. While asleep I saw myself writing the essay.

Because the vision was so vivid, when I woke up the next day, I thought that the essay was indeed complete. When I realized that is was only a dream, I started writing down everything I remember seeing in the dream. I was able to grab whole phrases and sentences and most of my outline! I wrote the essay and VOILA! it became my application essay for school.

After that experience I started respecting my dreams a whole lot more... and every now and then I'm rewarded with a peek into what's brewing under my hair.

Let's just say I've had some very good dreams, the kind that you just cant get out of your head all day long, I dont know why I had them but you know what they say "your dreams are trying to tell you something". nod

Therapy

I had one as my alarm was going off this morning (dream, that is...). The bit that is obviously most significant as it is sticking in my mind, yet I am unable to work it out yet, is that I had a dream with Antony from Eastenders in it. He was in the Queen Vic and just found out that he had cancer.

Odd.
