Do you have an HTC Droid Eris? Whatever you do, do not download the system update (2.1) currently being offered by Verizon.
I loved my phone until a few days ago, when I downloaded the update. Now, I hate it. The browser is glitchy (never was before), it looks like shit (everything got smaller), and there's a terrible lag in texting. And that's just what I've found, so far.

I did an update last week, everything okay so far...don't know if that was the one, though. They will be coming out with something to fix the glitch with contacts being merged with google, fb, etc. | |

I would be comforted if I had any of those problems, I guess. I would just like sending a text not to take 10 minutes - and for the phone to not constantly dump out of my browser. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

I have it, downloaded it and have no problems at all. The only time it gets glitchy is when I have too many programs going.
You do have Advance Task Killer right? That always helps me. | |

Yes, I have the Task Killer app - and I run it often.
The phone was great until I updated the OS.
