now that we are out of the dark ages, the days of the puritans, etc...i think that sexual exploration and experimentation is not as shunned as it used to be. but in your original question, you assume that women are far more open to same sex relations. why?

as i said above......the reason this question interests me is because my girlfriend told me recently that before she met me.....she had an encounter with another woman ...just kissing and a wee fumble but she said it was ok.....and the thought of having sex with a woman wasnt a turn off for her.....also her best friend is openly bi-sexual so you can maybe see why i am asking as it got me thinking about it..... confused

those are just 2 women out of a billion. you need a bigger test sample. and Bob.....despite your personal feelings....i would say that a majority of men have had homosexual thoughts. it's natural.

FauxReal

I've only been on here 6 months and I'm pretty certain I've seen what several have mentioned as far as straight sex being addressed like it's repulsive by gay members (though usually in jest). In fact, I could be wrong Vendetta, but I thought you called one straight orger on a similar comment (it may have been someone else), only to have him turn around and say gay men on this site have done the same, and then one gay member did step up in his defense and acknowledge that yes, he has done that himself in regards to straight sex so perhaps everyone should lay off of the straight member that made the remark in question.

I'd name names, but I'll leave that on them to decide if they care to be involved or not. But it has happened since I've been here.

I only read the first couple of posts, but I want to say this:

Give him a break, all he said was that the thought of him having a sexual encounter with another man makes him feel sick, which is - surprise, surprise! - why he is heterosexual. His comment was not sexist, not racist, not offensive at all. He can be good friends with homosexuals, like some of them, respect them, tolerate their lifestyle, but why on earth wouldn't he be allowed to find himself having sex with them disgusting? He simply is not into men, sexually.

Back to your topic, I think what you propose is utter crap.

Most straight women I've notice are bi-curious. But in many cases, it will not go any further than a kiss on the lips, brushing/combing each other hair, and (if they only best frineds) sit on each others laps.

I disagree to an extent. There are way more bi-curious women on the earth than bi-curious men.

Most people are just curious period...so of course this can led to sexual experimentation of all types. I'm talking both men and women. How do you learn about something unless you try...but in no way do I think that experimentation with the same sex makes you bi-sexual.

And then, there are a lot of straight women who get with other women just to get a reaction out of men - thanks to porn. But how many of those chicks really get into same sex relationships? Not many.

I do understand what you meant and why you felt like you did, but I think it was based on a small misunderstanding. You're certainly not pathetic or a bad person, but neither is the thread starter, from what I read in his first post, at least.

I know you didn't, I just found your slightly aggressive approach not to be really justified in this case... But who am I to play the diplomat!

No. And I wish you would keep that "gay men having sex makes you sick" shit to yourself.

Far, FAR more men are "curious" about bi sex than ever let on because they're afraid of not being seen as manly, tough, macho, etc. (*cough*blackbob*cough*). Far more of them are participating in it than a lot of people would believe. Our society does generally try to push the "all women are interested in other women" nonsense, though. It's something I've heard over and over in various places since high school, which was quite a while ago. lol Forty years of pushing the idea in porn hasn't helped. But to believe ALL of ANYTHING is any certain way is dangerous. There are exceptions to every rule. All of 'em. And this post is probably completely unnecessary at this point, but I ain't gonna read the reast of this thread right now, so nyaa! razz
