The original Fantastic Four movie by Roger Corman is pretty fucking awful. Fantastically so in fact.

Quite possibly the worst script, worst priduction, worst special effects and the worst acting all in one fanastically awful movie that you can't help but watch with your mouth agape at how it ever got made in the first place. Highly recommended. Kinda.

Hmm, a lot of good suggestions. Sadly, some of them he'd probably like. Can anyone recommend any foreign films WITHOUT subtitles? That would be hell on earth. No nudity preferred. He'd enjoy that, unless of course is full-frontal male.

But there'd be nothing to stop him switching the language format to subtitles, if he wanted to.

Oh don't worry. I already plan on seizing all of the controllers so he can't change it, turn it off, etc. evillol

OK, here's the deal. I have a friend who is about to have surgery on his anckle. For the next month, he is going to be completely bed-ridden and I will be watching his kids. I wanna torture him by putting the worse movies ever made into the VCR and leaving him to suffer. So, what movies do you recommend? I already have Graffiti Bridge in mind so no need to suggest that one. What else would you recommend? Yes I already know that I'm a complete a$$hole, but that's part of the fun. So what do you suggest?

Titanic (bad, bad, bad, so bad, super bad) DAMN, IT WAS AWFUL!

Needful Things

Those are the ones that came to mind.

highfive

Here's my thing with Titanic: there are so many great, true stories linked to the sinking of the Titanic. Why super-impose some silly, sophomoric, mall-rat love story on top of it?

I am not someone who gives a rusty about special effects. I want a story - and it had better be a good one. That is what a movie is supposed to be.

That said, there is a version of Titanic I like...

falloff That was brilliant, funny, and short: Mr. Cameron should've taken note, that's all the time he needed ( 2 mintues) to retell his drivel.

His version was poorly written and acted, this movie was the turning point for why I stopped going to the movies. Titanic (1953) with Clifton Webb, Barbara Stanwyck, Robert Wagner, is still one the better versions. I can't believe (silly girls and women) went back to see Cameron's Titanic multiple times. I knew the moive was in trouble when my mother said Kate Winslet needed and should jump overboard, I agreed. lol

What a bullshit statement...

"Avatar" was a cunt movie and not even remotely what people, like me, expected for the last 14 years, I even burned my 1997 comic con promo shirt after seeing that overhyped snorefest, the dude promissed an original plot but obviously ditched that idea and delivered some blue SFX shit...

And fuck "Titanic", there's nothing even remotely interesting in a shit movie like that...

The only things interesting James Cameron made were "Aliens" and "Terminator" (not including that embarrassing "Terminator 2" crap...)

But anyway...

About 99.9% of the movies coming out of Hollywood are "the most God-awful movies I've ever seen"...

  • The second Nightmare on Elm Street movie. I was SO scared of this as a kid. So it comes on one night, and I'm ready to have a flashback. I just sat there, wondering why this was so scary to me as a kid. I usually love the Nightmare franchise, but this movie really left a lot to be desired plot-wise.
  • 976-Evil. confused I mean this movie is just....funny. It's not scary, it's just like something to sit and watch in October or something just for the laughs. I expected more because of who directed it. Not that it was incredibly bad, but um...there's this one part where there's spiders coming out of a TV dinner or something. It just seemed so childish to me...
  • Dark Ride. I saw this on the Sci-Fi channel (before they got all stupid and renamed it Syfy) at a time I'd like to call "this channel keeps greenligthing crappy movies". Sadly, it just went on and on...lol. It came out in '06. Basically it's the usual formula of traumatic thing happens in the youth, boy goes crazy, torments stuff blah blah somehow ends up with the cool kids and leads them to their death. What a twist. bored Sprinkle in the whole thing of wordplay. It's a "dark ride" because it leads to death....and...it's a "dark ride" because it's inside. You know, like those rides where you're on the track? Yeah.
  • The Gravedancers. Help me Lord! lol I saw this movie twice. I think I should not have done that. I was slightly on the edge of my seat. But it's one of those movies that has been done to death. Dance on a grave or two, then your friends start getting haunted and finally killed unless you and some other folk do something to fix it. A real snoozer, but an interesting way to kill time I guess.
  • This one movie is so bad that I can't even remember the name. Basically some teen girl discovers a dark secret about herself. Her parents pretty much promised her soul or whatever to the Devil in exchange for a chance to live. Long story short, her mom goes nuts, she and her dad move, and suddenly this new town is all against her but also worshipping her or some crap...been there, done that. lol

That's not even half the movies on my list, but that's all I can think of at the moment.
