That brand has been around since I was a child at least, but I think it’s regional to the US midwest. Old Dutch is the original brand, then they came out with these kettle chip style ones that are thicker and heartier and they use the “Dutch Crunch” name, but the windmill on the top is the Old Dutch logo. I have no idea if the original owners have Dutch ancestry or if they just chose it as a name or what. lol

From wikipedia:

The company began as Old Dutch Products Co. in 1934. They originated in St. Paul, Minnesota, but moved to Minneapolis in 1937. In 1968, they moved again, this time to Roseville, Minnesota, where they remain today.

Old Dutch opened a plant in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1954 to manufacture chips for the Canadian market. The head office for Canadian operations remains in Winnipeg.

cool i'd like to taste them smile

When I buy a bag I can't share...it doesn't leave my side.

I also can't get enough of these;

...must be something about processed potato chips that does it for me!

thumbs up!

Back-in-the-day when I worked at Macy*s...and they had the food department called The Cellar...they used to sell Terra chips. It was the first time I had ever seen "gourmet" potato chips.

I haven't seen them around lately (not that I've been specifically searching for them though).
