Why hasnt anyone made a sugar free alcholic drink yet Im know many people who suffer with diabetes who would be very grateful if they did. I mean is it not possible or something??

alcohol comes from fermentation. fermantation needs sugar in order to occur

That said, alcohol is terrible for diabetics. It can mess up your blood sugar even without a mixer.

hmm....I think...distilled alcohol...aka spirits, hard liquor such as rum, vodka etc have no sugar in them. It's the mixers added to it that are sugary. use a sugarfree juice or whatever and mix it with vodka...should have very minimal if no sugar at all.

Because sugar isn't the only thing that affects your blood sugar. Alcohol does, too. So does caffeine. So do artificial sweeteners.

If you are a diabetic, you need to educate yourself before you start boozing it up.

You don't have to be diabetic to have a bad reaction to a combination of alcohol/sugar/sweeteners/caffeine.

Then you gotta be cleanin blood off the couch in the morning.

There are sugar free mixers tho.

They have a slight aftertaste. If I must mix with sugar free I rather CrystalLighttini it.
