Who else does not..

Is there any one else here that does not watch TV???

Honestly i just don't have time, occasionally i catch 5 minutes of the news here & there, but it's been months since the last time i actually sat down and watched something.

And i don't even miss it!

I don't watch nearly as much television as most people I know. I don't even know what sitcoms are popular. If I do watch something it's usually on the History Channel, a rerun of a spooky show on Chiller, a true crime show or some cable news.

I love that movie. My friends and I still use that "you don't want no parts of this shit" line pretty regularly.

I don't know who sings the songs.

But I thought the same, that it would suck beyond belief. Now I probably think it's better than it really is because of my initial low expectations.

because of work and school. i noticed that habitual television watching has dramatically decreased. I used to watch tv--maybe half of the day or the entire day if i was truly bored. now---it started at watching 2 hours of tv--and then one. I got rid of the television in my room--my addiction is now of arts and craft books, novels, books on polytheistic religions, etc and of course the dreaded internet to which one particular artist has deemed as dead.

I go thru cycles. When I get to a point where I realize I"m sending too much time sitting on my butt in front of the TV, I get "tired" of it. shrug

I DVR things I might find interesting. Most of the time, I delete them without watching because I lose interest.

I usually have music on, or I'm listening to the baseball game on the radio.

I live alone, so... yeahthat

I only have one TV- downstairs in the family room. I don't like sitting down there constantly by myself.

I watch too many movies, like one (or part of one) a day so I never watch normal TV. It's too annoying and all the commercial breaks take up too much time.

I watch CNN or The Discovery Channel while I have dinner to keep me company, and every night when the latest episodes have been posted (4 times a week) I watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report online. It's almost become an evening ritual that helps me relax.

Other than that, I never watch TV. So it's really become about the specific content rather than the overall experience of watching TV, and I think that's probably in line with where society is heading thanks to online and downloadable content, Tivos, etc.

I watch True Blood online, but that's pretty much it.
