2 weeks ago there was a lightning storm. It fried a TV and a DVD player. I saw a spark near my modem and router and now I can't access my internet. I'm mad. Got a new modem from the cable company. Everything seemes to be fine, except it doesn't connect. It's like having shitty Time Warner cable for weeks now instead of just every other day as usual. I've treid everything and I am stumped!

the buildings wiring could be damaged or your jack is fried as well... sparks are never good... anyone else having your problems??

Check you're IP adress settings. They may have been corrupted, due to the storm.
