FYI: ALL BLACK PEOPLE DON'T USE THE "N" WORD!

There are plently of Black folks that find that word offensive. They don't want anyone to use it, no matter what your color is. Some Black folks don't care one way or the other.

White folks don't understand these issues because they refuse to acknowledge that there is a racial hierarchy.

Whites are at the top and Blacks are at the bottom. Everyone else is somewhere in the middle. Many Whites don't want to lose "white privilege," so they just say it's not a big deal and move on.

WOW, just WOW!

eek

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

The way some of you are defending Mel Gibson, makes me wonder what constitutes a true racist in your opinion. Because it's clear (...at least to me), that among many other things, Mel Gibson is about as racist as you can get, short of personally hanging a Black person from a tree, or placing a Jewish person in an oven.

And incidentally, as a Black person: I don't feel every White person is racist, nor do I refer to other Black people as "The N-word", in fact I'm firmly against ANYONE doing so. Neither do I refer to ANY racial group by the derogatory terms that have been assigned to them over time.

To me there's a more than slight difference between using a forbidden word in a heated argument and "hanging a Black person from a tree, or placing a Jewish person in an oven".

I wish America's history of racism (or the world for that matter) was just that. Words used against others.

Sadly it wasn't so. sad When did you forget that facts hurt more than words?

I really think that somewhere along the way America lost it. I'll tell you why I think so.

What if someone arrives home and finds a group of men raping his wife?

He takes out his gun and blows their heads off and everyone will applaud. Confess. They will.

BUT he uses the tabu word and all hell breaks loose.

Believe me, I know it's like that but I can't understand it and I don't want to understand it. I think it's insane, always from my point of view.

If he weren't racist, the word nigger would never have even entered his head to use as a description of a group of men raping her no matter how mad he was. He could have easily used a descriptive word for a gang of rapists such as a gang of criminals, thugs, assholes, bastards, motherfuckers, etc. but he chose to use the word nigger because that's how he views black people. A person's real thoughts come out when they are mad and it doesn't matter if there were no black people around because the point is, it's not a matter of whether black people were intended to hear the word or not, the point is, he said it in the first place regardless. The fact that he uses the word or even thinks the word makes him a racist. Yes, he has the right to use the word if he wants to. No, it's not against the law. But black people also have the right to not like him because he uses it. Actually, it would turn me on to watch some of them whoop his ass for using it. evillol

He was pissed and reacted.

We all do. Doesn't make you an unfit parent . . . .

If you think this a normal angry reaction, I don't know who you've been hanging out with.

Anyone who regularly communicates this way or resorts to physical violence against a woman holding a baby, as evidenced by the various tapes, has serious issues and poses a threat to that baby, even if it's not a physical one.

If this is how he regularly communicates, how they end up with a child together?

My parents behaved a lot worse than this and neither of them went to jail . . . . ..

My parents were verbally and physically abusive toward everyone in the house . . .

Just cuz they didn't go to jail, doesn't mean they shouldn't have. Fucked up people have kids together all the time. And maybe he acted normal until he realized he couldn't control her then he started bugging. That's typical of abusers who are often quite charming initially. Regardless, he still poses a threat to both of them.

What does count as racist?

My actions? My words?

How my words are interpreted by others?

I guess it's imperative to be PC even alone . . . . .

I think it's a combination of those things, which seem to mirror what's inside a person.

Since there is a "no snitching policy" involved with you and your "friends", I'll apologize for thinking that you're a coward.........for now.

But be as it may, your "friends" do NOT know what the hell they talking about. And I can very easily accuse them for being prejudice toward me behind my back by telling you a whole bunch of lies about me. And yes, you can tell you sorry excuses for "friends" that I said so.

1. Jokes in general do NOT offend me. But it the way that some people tell the joke that can be taken as hurtful.

2. I do NOT think that all white folks are racist. But some of them are. I also do NOT think that all blacks, latinos, OR asians are racist. But some of them are. But of course, your "friends" have failed to tell you that I've said this in many threads before.

Next time around if you have any questions about what I said OR what I didn't say, you're better off asking me directly. Because sometimes, some people like your "friends" will not know all of the facts at all.

Think about it. wink

Now she's gonna suffer this scumbag because of an indifferent and MONEY driven law system.

Had Mel been your avarage Joe, he wouldn't be within 10 feet of that child without supervision. And he would've been ordered to seek some help for her sake too.

How does that explain Elin and Tiger?

I haven't followed their big blown out charade like I should've. But if he put his hands on her(whether she was holding a baby or not) and clearly showed signs of instability like Mel, then he shouldn't be near any babies without supervision as well and also seek help.
