I had a fantastic weekend full of naps, friends, love, kids, movies and food!

Finishing a 2 week vacation, I spent some time at acadia park, and some time touring gilded age mansions in Newport RI

My new shoes are comfy.

I don’t seem to have anything else to talk about these days and I don’t blame folks for finding it nauseating, but -

Things are going really really really well with my man. He’s the bee’s knees and the cat’s pajamas and the dog’s tuxedo and everything all rolled together. It’s been about 3 ½ months and I’ve never been this optimistic about a relationship in my life.

We’re going away this weekend to the North Shore (of Lake Superior). We plan to do lots of hiking and just enjoy how beautiful it is up there. And I cannot WAIT!

I've just finished doing all the ironing, the kids are asleep and i'm drinking a lovely cup of tea.

My immediate family are all in good health.

My extended family are all on the mend and their recent health problems are getting better.

I work tomorrow and half of Weds, then Ben, my girls and I are going to Lake Tahoe Thurs-Sun. Then I'm taking Monday off just to relax.

I didnt have to take a handful of Advil this morning for my jaw when i got out of bed!

My daughter has a new boyfriend and he treats her like she deserves to be treated!

My son will be home in a few weeks on Leave!

My husband was a DYNAMO in the bedroom last nite!

And I got a big check from our POS car for hail damage!

I'm going to Atlantic City to see Santana on Saturday!

We have had our growth spurts and challenges BUT ~ it has never deminished the relationship as the overall outcome

I steer clear of energetic and verbal relationship/marriage bashers and unhappy partnered people as much as possible ~ their experience is of their creation and they do have the power to change that

it's a million degrees outside but I'm inside soaking up the A/C...it doesn't get anymore positive than that...

I'm refinancing my condo and my payment will drop $200/month.

I told someone recently that I loved them and it wasn't returned. That part obviously sucked, however it brought all my issues straight in my face and I'm working on them towards my perfect husband in the upcoming lab at school. I love awareness

This is the second time I've refinanced. The first was in 2006 - I needed to convert from an ARM (the initial financing) to a fixed-rate mortgage. My interest rate and payment didn't change much that time.

This time, my interest rate is dropping almost two full percentage points - not to mention the fact that the principle has dropped quite a bit in that time. And because the note was already held by Fannie Mae, the new rules for condos didn't affect me. I didn't even need an appraisal!
