I've only seen Alien 1 and 2, none of the rest or any Predator flicks (that I remember), but I can pretty much co-sign Dan's review.

as i watched this movie, i was there trying 2 see where it would fit into the predator movies or was it a continuation of the alien vs predators brand but now just focused on the predators. i left it kind of taking both series just on the fact that at the end of the avp pt 2 film how the alien that bursted through was a hybrid. one could say that the 2nd type of predators breed is that breed of hybrids now.

not a bad movie by any means and laurence played the role very well

I thought this movie was kinda dull lol I watched the original Predator when I was quite young but remember it being very tense and scary (maybe I was just a wimp as a child though). This just seemed like more of an action film than a tense horror type movie. As an action film it's pretty good, the person I went with really enjoyed it, but I was quite disapointed because I was hoping for a different type of movie.

Laurance Fishbourne made me laugh with his 'Im aliiiiive' line I'm only hoping he intentionally played his part so hammy.

i thought this movie sucked. no way would a predator get "shanked", or get into a damn ginsu honor blade fight. and the whole laurence fishbourne part was dumb. he just put on a predator mask and he can cloak? and how was his old fat ass supposed to be outwitting/outperforming predators that are super-athletic and strong? he looked like he couldn't run 20 feet without stopping for a burger and fries

the original predator movie was awesome. this was just cow shit. -**

Predators reminds me alot of this movie:

It's called Uncle Boonmee Who Can recall his past lives.

Except there's no blood, nobody gets killed, there's no violence, and it's a philosophical introspection and cultural meditation on Northern hillside cultures in Thailand and their animistic belief system.

I like the movie, however I do agree with you about Laurence Fishbourne (or is that Fishburger). It's like they threw in that part just for him. I don't know how long their "seasons" are but he mentioned he was their for 10 seasons. Don't know how long that is, I think most people woud say how many weeks or months they were there.
