Guess how many posts I have?

I worked in a movie theater years ago, and whenever someone bought nachos and a large soda the total came out to $6.66. People would freak out! "Oh no! Uh... let me have a snickers too."

I get all excited when the odometer flips and it has "666" in there somewhere. Or, if I see that it is coming up, I keep my eye on it until it hits.

666 is 999 upside down i have nothing more to say

Numbers fascinate me. I do lots of data entry at work and I always trip out when a person's phone number is the same backwards and forwards. I point it out and people go "Oh yeah..."

that´s so funny.that happened a lot of times
when I worked at a cd store.
several times the total came out 666 kr.
it was so funny looking at the customers trying
2 act like it was normal,but then trying 2 get
it over with as fast as possible.
others started 2 freak out & bought a cassett 4
13 kr.
first I thought it was really funny but when I got
666 quite often it started 2 freak me out,
like ...is it me???& I would get it over with
as soon as I could.reset the registermachine,
look over the customers shoulders saying...
next please!!!

When you invert it, its the same, unlike a minor third, which becomes a major sixth, etc. Also, it takes 6 half-steps to get from C to F#, go six more and you're back at C again! No other number of half-steps does this.

I guess that was tooo much for the church to deal with.

Ah yes, the devil's interval, sounds kind of freaky so they would NEVER play it in church.

By the way, to shed a little light on the whole "number of the beast" thing, most modern churches are really mis-informed when it comes to the book of Revelation. In actuality, the number refers to the greek name for the Emporer Nero, who was persecuting the Christians around the time of Revelation's writing. The "anti-christ" and 666 are all references to Nero, and most of the events referred to in the book are coded references to events that were occurring at that time. In other words, the Book Of Revelation was written in a code, so that if it fell into the wrong hands they wouldn't have any clue what the Christians were referring to. It is not a book about the end of the world, but essentially an inspirational code to encourage the Christians to stand strong against the adversity they were facing, since God would ultimately take care of them.
