I found out that they discontinued my favorite shampoo of all time - Sebastian Mohair. I love everything about it - what it does for my hair and, most especially, how it makes my hair smell. So I bought 10 bottles of it. That oughta last me at least five years.

I know it's silly, but I just couldn't bear the thought of my hair never smelling like that again.

I spent $30 once on a 1L bottle of Pigeon baby shampoo because I thought it was getting discontinued. I have 3 kids, 10 years later, there is still shampoo in that bottle. That tells me I'm probably not washing their hair enough, but on the bright side, their heads are uninhabitable for lice

I hear ya! There have been favorite products of mine that were discontinued, without me even knowing it. Had I known, I would have stocked up on them, the same way that you did.

... i didnt spend 150.00 but i had to have the last of the moonlit bay body cream outta wal-mart cause i couldn' stand not to smell like grapes and cherries...lolololol

I figure the stash will last five years because I use (at least) four other shampoos. I bought a liter of this stuff last time and it lasted two years. Ten bottles is a little less than 2-1/2 liters, so...

How fast would shampoo go "bad," anyway? (And what would that mean?) I suspect the fragrance would just become a little weaker. I don't think you can freeze it - but it'll be stored in a cool, dark place.

I totally understand. If I had the money to buy Type 55 4x5 Poloraid film before it was discontinued I would have done it in a heart beat. Now its on ebay for 600 bucks a pack
