He looks hot but what's up with all the rubber or metal clothes? They even ruined Batman's look also. Stick to the old spandex and underwear. Hell, you can't see no dick in that damn rubber. lol

Hate the mask. Not wild about it. But I can't wait for this movie. If they do this right, it could be incredible.

Not really feeling the costume - should be a combo of green & black.

DC needs to get moving - Marvel will have 'The Avengers' by 2012. What happened to 'Justice League'?

I was just kidding, that's all. I normally like super hero stuff, but there are just too few movies that got it right on celluloid.

The Marvel movies have all had better costuming. It's weird how bad DC's movie costumes have been. Batman's mask looks way silly, and the rest of the costume was not great. Superman looked idiotic with all those stupid "S" symbols carved into everything. And now this GL one looks bad.

Why do all their costumes look like they were designed by Rubbermaid?

It looks like Joel Schumacher designed the GL costume.

That looks more like what Kylie Rayner would wear than Hal Jordan.

They didn't; it's the glow from the ring.

I'm not crazy about the mask or the rest of the costume. The Green Lantern uniform is classic and shouldn't have been changed. The green/black combo is one of the reasons Hal Jordan is my favorite DC superhero. Looking forward to the movie at any rate.

Purely awful.

BTW, it's all CGI. No practical costume is in the film.

It's not even real and they couldn't keep it from being shitty.

Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

I kind of like the idea of a CGI costume akin to a construct of the ring (done right, of course).

I only like the idea of a CGI costume if it means that Ryan Reynolds is running around stark naked during filming. Otherwise, it's a completely stupid idea.biggrin

Sometimes, y'all kill me.

You'd RATHER see him running around and green and white spandex?

the POINT is (even in the comics) is that the costume is a construct of the ring.

so sure being DRAWN in a comic, it would look as it does with a bit of a green halo around it.

but in a MOVIE, which is supposed to look "REALISTIC" how would that look?

leather?

rubber?

SPANDEX?

the only way TO go was CGI. and even then this is a "first look".

i think they're dead on, and i think it'll probably get tweeked a bit in editing.

True, not every comic-book costume would translate well to film(Wonder Woman, Wolverine), but I think GL's would if done right.
