So i know this is a common allergy... but can you all of a sudden be allergic to specific kinds of nuts?

i just had a macadamia nut cookie and i havent had one in like three years and now my throat feels like it has a irritation to it on the outside....

i know being allergic to peanuts is pretty common but what about the others?

any advice should i take benedrill? its not too bad just never done this before..

ok now discuss (either of the above topics lol)

but really im being serious about if i should take anything or just leave it be?

I'm allergic to the nuts over in Music & More but am apparently a glutton for punishment.

mixed nuts from BiLo.

All joking aside, I'm allergic...

It's AWFUL! I have to inspect things and read labels carefully before I eat them.

My symptoms range from an itchy swelling throat to severe migraines, depending on what kind.

Almonds and hazelnuts have been the worst.

I hate it.

I don´t know. I really don´t know and it is all a big mystery to me.

Sometimes I have very heavy allergic reactions when I least expect them, then, a few weeks later, at the same place and eating the same brand, I have NO reactions whatsoever,and sometimes it also depends on whether the nuts are roasted or not.

I can eat all kinds of nuts but sometimes hazelnuts and peanuts give me allergies but it´s very rare.

I eat a lot of peanuts so maybe it´s because of eating too much of the same protein regularly.

Yes.

I wasn't allergic to them until my early twenties. I tend to be more allergic to them also during the spring when there's pollen in the air, allergies seem to work in a sort of a "combinatory" way.

I won't really eat anything that has nuts in them, especially sweets.

The closest I come to eating nuts is sunflower seeds... and those aren't nuts.

I tried to keep that statement as clean as possible.
