I named my first male cat "Charlie Griffin." He was my heart and lived to be 15 years old. I have a male now named "Spunky Monkey." I call him "Spunks" for short. Another male is called "Scrappy" and I shorten it to "Scraps" at times. In total, I have 7 cats and only one of them is female. She's "Sissy" and "Sis" for short. The other males are "Thumper," "Black Mack Daddy," "Blue," and "Boots." Thumper is a beautiful long-haired kitty who reminds me of Thumper in the Walt Disney movie "Bambi." I even call my Thumper "Flower," but pronouced FLA wor, and he answers to that, too! biggrin

Our dog came with a weird name. We adopted a former show dog named Jo Joker Jo.

We call him:

Jo-Jo

Jo-Jo-Bum

Jo-Jo-Doggie

Sir Joker Joferson

Joker-dee-Joker

The Jokes

Stupid Doggie (always said in a super-high pitched voice: "Hi, you stuuupid doggie!" which makes him wag his tail and jump around like an idiot)

My Idiot Lhasa

You Shit/You Little Shit

We also insert his name into songs and sing them to him.

Why do pets make us act so stupid?

whofarted

It's what you make it.

In the 1980s, we had a calico cat named "Patches" that always had a goofy scared look on her face. She would always peep her head around the corner before she would enter the room. She used to remind me of Valene Ewing's goofy ass on "Knot's Landing". I used to call her "Nuthouse".

Andy is a four letter word.

Well now you've gone and done it! I left that part out of mine because I didn't want people to think I was totally off my rocker.

But I have anywhere between 10 and 15 songs I interchange my pup's name in all the time as well. Some are known tunes. Most are just silly little things I make up in the fly.

My neighbors must think I'm a total wack job because I usually sing most of the songs VERY loudly......

Some people are like Slinkies...

They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

I get pretty high up there too when I'm trying to get him all riled up. Usually he just winds up looking at me like I've got 3 heads. I think the songs are more for my benefit than his..... boxed
