I don't know if this is new news or not, but it was confirmed today at Comic-Con that Mark Ruffalo will play Bruce Banner in the Avengers movie.

There's no way that ol' Supes can beat the Hulk EASILY!! He might be able to beat him eventually, but handily? Not even close. The Hulk is damn near indestructible with no REAL weakness or soft spot, unlike fly boy who hates Kryptonite (for a damn good reason). And as strong as Superman is, do you realize just how strong the Hulk is when you get his ass REALLY upset?? Where Superman may have the edge, though, is that he's smarter than the Hulk, and ultimately that could turn the tide (though that didn't help him against Doomsday, did it?). The Superman they portrayed in The Animated Series and JL/JLU would probably get crushed, though! Doomsday was almost able to kill him, and he's just a Hulk-wannabe! All you have to do is read World War Hulk. He tore through the entire Marvel universe. The only one who fought him to a standstill was Juggernaut.

I remember reading a comic back-in-the-day where a bunch of superheroes were trying to control him and failed miserably. The only one who succeeded in stopping the Hulk was Dr. Strange. With a snap of a finger he sent him off to another dimension or something.

Hmm...If you're talkng about how Supes beat Hulk in the Vs. comics, then you're a bit off about the editors part. The fans voted on who would win.

Has anyone ever read the Avengers/JLA cross over? it was really good and does a great job at contrasting the two universes views on super heroes.

1. Doomdays has bones for foreign objects. I would dare put him in the same sentence as the Hulk.

And either way, Doomdays is one of THE most overrated super-villains of all time. Yes, he still has his place in comic book history as the first person to ever "killed" Superman, but not before Doomdays got KTFO. And to make matters worse, Superman came back from the dead many weeks later (thanks to The Eradicator)! THIS fact alone proves that Doomdays is pure garbage.

2. I haven't see Batman: Red Hood yet. I watched some scene at a comic shop earlier this week. But I will see the whole thing later. I have my sources.

3. As for the Hulk, he's not a offensive homicidial maniac like Doomsday. For anything, Hulk is more defensive because he wants people to just "leave him alone", mean that Hulk will not fight unless he is attack first.
