I bought a new HDTV set online nearly a couple of weeks ago, and I got it delivered to my home yesterday. It's a Vizio 42-inch screen with 1080p resolution and 240 Hz screen frame rate which looks like this:

Unfortunately, my dinky little TV stand was too small for my new TV, so I had to go to a closeout store to get a TV stand to go with it. I bought one of those that you had to assemble at home, so I spent the next four hours assembling it myself. Eventually, I got it assembled, and I brought out my new TV set.

The picture is really good in some spots, but it wasn't as impressive an HDTV picture that I thought it would be. I don't think the problem is with the TV; I think it has more to do with my Comcast cable box and the RCA component jacks that connected to it. I'm going to get some HDMI cables today, since my TV and cable box have HDMI outputs, and that should improve the picture.

How funny that you posted this. My friend wanted a new TV, and I took her shopping today to pick one out. I'm a huge Vizio fan, and she ended up with a 47" Vizio, and a Vizio BluRay. She LOVES it.

My roommate had I have 3 Vizio HDTV's between us, and I have the first Vizio BluRay model, too.
