Let's Talk COOKIES!

I love cookies!

My favorites are still Chocolate Chip, but I am very partial to Double Stuff Oreos...

I started this thread because I just bought "Strawberry Milkshake Creme" Oreos.

YUM!

What's your favorite? biggrin

I love those big old chewy soft chocolate chip cookies that use to be in the food courts at the malls. I guess they still have them, but I haven't been to a mall in ages.

I love the Oreos with the chocolate creme!!

When it comes to homemade I will fuck up a batch of peanut butter cookies! I've finally perfected a soft snickerdoodle too! I like my cookies softer rather than crunchy.

Damn right.

Although usually when the cookies come out of the oven, I'm so sick from all the dough that I've eaten that I have to wait a while before I can actually eat one.

Mrs Fields Oatmeal Raisin Nut from the store/mall bakery (NOT the mass produced supermarket ones....ewww)

Pepperidge Farm Oatmeal Raisin

Regular oreos if I have a milk craving

When I get an urge to bake from scratch, I make a serious good oatmeal raisin chocolate chip (or raisinets) nut cookie!! Quaker Oats recipe is the bizness!!

lol

I can't stand raw cookie dough.

But I do have a habit of eating way too much of the creamed butter-sugar-brown sugar mixture before the eggs and flour get added.

Oh, lord. I am like a crack addict when it comes to dough/batter. It's so not a pretty sight.

If I ever made a cake, it would pretty much only have one layer, not two, because I would eat so much of the batter before baking.

I might have a problem.

I only do homemade cookies. Some of my best are:

Peanut butter, chocolate chip and bacon

Espresso with bittersweet chocolate chips, dried tart cherries and macadamia nuts

Lime sugar cookies (which I usually pair with strawberry and balsamic vinegar ice cream)

Mexican fire - dark chocolate; ancho, guajillo and cayenne peppers, espresso and orange zest

Soft and/or chewy. Yerp!

I haven't eaten store bought cookies in SOOOO long. It doesn't take but an hour to make a pretty large batch at home once you know what you're doing. When I did eat store bought, though, Pepperidge Farms Milanos were my deal! Mint, Orange, Dark Chocolate, Double Chocolate. Mm. lol
