For those like me who live check to check. Do you find you have alot of WANTS that eat up your income. And that you struggle to meet your NEEDS because of this?

One must establish a realistic view on their wants. I am a tight wad, and can't stand that feeling of money leaving my hand...So, I only buy, in most instances, what I NEED.

I keep a minimum amount of money that I make at home, $60, and deposit the rest in the bank. I don't touch what's in the bank. However, I realize I still live at home, and can get away with such things. I will enjoy watching my bank account grow the next year and a half.

At any rate, I can say, that I doubt WANTS will ever eat up anything for me. If I can't afford it, I won't buy it. It may look or sound nice, but I can't be bothered!

I am bad at this, except for when I have to save my money like now. So, what I do is window shop. I spent many hours last night looking at very expensive homes on the internet! It kind of gets it out of my system.

i need way to much to worry about shit like that...
so me, (one with no income at all) i just
do the damn thang, and worry about whut i want.
shit i got bills to pay.
and you can best believe, i want them paid...

I have always been very responsible with my money, I'm not one of those women who loves to shop and shop, when it's time to pay the bills I pay them. If by chance there's a little extra money left over then I might get myself something but what usually ends up happening is that I end up buying something for someone else rather then myself.

I LOVE watches! I should've been born an octopus! (one that can tell time) I really don't need more, but I always want more. It's hard for me to walk through Macy's w/o checking out the watch counters. My friend recently gave me Wristwatch Annual 2003. *swoon* I think the most expensive watch I've seen in it so far was about $150,000 (and it didn't have a single diamond!). There's this Alain Silberstein watch that I want but I know I can't afford it. unrealwatch.com sells a bootleg that costs $189, but it's not exactly the model that I want.

Here is my story

me - "ring ring ring"

my parents - "hello"

me - "Hi mom Hi dad"

my parents - What you calling for again more money" (my dad likes to cut to the chase so to speak)

me - "umm no I just called to say hi, but if you want to send me some you can...I do really actually need it"


my parents - "WHAT! we just sent you 100 dollars last week, you have a job they pay you why you need more money"


me - "Well there was a great sale at the mall all of my favorite stores had stuff on sale and I JUST HAD TO HAVE it all."

my parents - "FINE the check is in the mail...now do not be calling here again asking for more money cause you know I am gonna say no the next time."

me - "Ok thanks so much I LOVE you both."

My parents - "We are starting to think you love our money more "

Repeat the same senerio over next week...

I don't really live from check to check, but I need nothing
of a material nature that I do not already have, but like a
lot of people, I really like nice things.
I have a triple dresser in one guest room that I use this way:
One drawer: casual jewelry
One drawer: dressy jewelry
One drawer: watches
One drawer: small ascessories like chain belts and scarves
One drawer: socks
One drawer: stockings
Then ther is a chest of drawers in there.
One drawer: (the drawer has a divider) silky stuff on one side
matching bras on other side.
One drawer: slips
One drawer: silky sleepers
Oh it goes on and on...
You could probably come shopping there...well not you C.

So as you can see, I have a little problem here. But nothing
I don't enjoy.
When I die, I won't have to worry about folk fighting over
my fat bank account.

So I go shopping every week. I have done that for as long
as I can remember.
Once a year I reorganize and make a bunch of friends happy
as I make room for other stuff.
BUT, I know how to be low on provisions...too.
