Subway Bread has More High Fructose Corn Syrup Than Whole Grains

THAT^ is disappointing. But no real surprise neither. It's seems like THE only place to go for safe beard is either Whole Foods OR you local bakerey.

I've pulled out my old breadmaker. So I know exactly what's in every piece I eat. I used to use it all the time. Then I stored it away. But I'm so sick of these companies telling us one thing and putting cheap, unhealthy shit in everything. Sick of these corporations who don't give a shit about us or what our kids eat.

I don't buy anything in a box and no processed food.

I like Subway. shrug

I get a roasted chicken with shredded cheddar, on a toasted flatbread, with red onions, tomatos, pickles, and banana peppers. Plus, that sweet onion sauce is amazing.

hell yes.

I LOVE the sweet onion chicken teriyaki, with banana peppers, lettuce, pepper jack cheese, red onions and of course the sweet onion sauce. faint

No, you wouldn't. I used to think that, too. It's actually pretty easy, once you make up your mind. shrug

Eating meat, fish, or chicken without bread is very easy for me since I've done it before. But cutting back on cereal (especially oatmeal) sugar, and other starches are a royal pain.

I love bread, but I am starting to notice that over-full feeling it gives me more and more as I get older. I have definitely started to limit it in my diet.

I think they give you way too many choices. I walk in there thinking they can fix me up a nice sandwich since that's what they do for a living but no, I have to do all the work myself. Dark or light bread? Oil and vinegar? Cheese or no cheese? Onions? How much lettuce? etc etc etc. Agh! If you tell them to do it however they would like it themselves, they just freeze and give you a blank stare.

razz It's road chow. My pops and I eat their steak sandwich thing. But now that he's had his operation and taking all these meds and stuff, he probably won't be able to have those anymore. Their sandwiches are okay, but there's a local joint here called Fontano's that would put them to shame. I mean....REALLY! lol

Its the only fast food joint I could tolerate(even though its not really fast food, in that sense).

I like their pizza sub. But I haven't been there for like a year.

Not sick and tired, no. About once every couple of months I'll get one of their subs of the day for 69 baht. That's pretty cheap ($2), and it's not the worst fare in the world.
