So so sorry. It saddens me to no end how people can take a life so easily and in a split second so many lives are changed forever.

Maybe it won't - It's probably me that's kind of dumb for assuming to know how it will affect you.

But from my experience, this kind of loss does change you in a kind of undefinable way. For some it makes them more compassionate, for others it makes them more hard and cynical. Still others may not change much at all - they might just see it as a horrible event and then move on.

In any case, it will take a while to see how this has shaped you. Right now you're in the shock-and-grief process.

I wish you strength and love throughout this experience and throughout your life.
