Help: My WiFi keeps dropping! Desktop connected to network via a D-Link DWA-130 (wireless-n USB adapter).
If I'm idle for a short time, it disconnects.  |

I already googled the model I have and I haven't found a solution yet.

I spent all day googling last week and came up with not much. If you find out what yours is (under the plastic, under the logos) there are only a couple of models out there, wrapped differently.
Maybe you can get a different driver for it? |

First, I'll let the Geek Squad guy who sold it to me to take a look. I believe this is the first time we've ever had an issue with our Geek.  |

My Vitamix blender KILLS my internet and whole network when I make a smoothie.
PowerLine networking thingys might work if you don't want to run cables |

Just thought of something useful!!!
It doesn't solve the problem but can you just run a ping command in the background to yahoo.com - that will keep the connection alive regardless of what you are doing |
