Today looks set to be AWESOME!!!!!

Shall I list thee ways?

3/3 kids are getting sick (and now after this, I reckon I will get sick too)

car won't start

won't make it to swimming lessons this morning

that's $50 I won't get back

I looked at how to get there by public transport, an otherwise 15 minute trip would take 1 hour 7 minutes and involves 1.5km of walking (WTF!!!!!) and would get me approx 10 minutes after lessons have finished.

it's raining

I've given the kids hell to be ready on time, for NOTHING and now I have a headache from all the shouting.

cry

I think I'll go and eat worms.

actually some adult time with an adult is what I need, I spend far too much time alone, so much so that all the centering is getting me down

Ugh. Poor you. hug

What are your kids like when they're getting ill? Will they be happy to sit and watch a dvd or do something quiet?

If it were me, i'd gladly forfeit $50 to not be forced to use public transport and then walk all that way with my kids. shake

Oh, it's raining here too. I hate it. I was wearing a WHITE tshirt and flip-flops. When I got home my feet were wet and yucky and my bra was clearly visable through my tshirt.... and I was greeted at my house by the postman! biggrin

they run around like little wild things mad

I let them play wii for twice as long as usual, but that still leaves about 7 hours where they need something to do. Swimming takes a merciful 2 hours out of our day.

I was never even considering the public transport once I found out what it entailed dead

I would have got them some DVDs but the car wouldn't start doh!

Sorry your day has gone south. I've been there. When you have car trouble, it's like

the worst feeling in the world. Hopefully as the day go on, things will get better for you.
