I just assume that most artists are gay / bi anyway. Reminds me of that "Boondocks" episode with "Gangsta-licious". Dude had that "thug-life" image, but was a closet gay. Started promoting his clothing line which was obviously feminine but did it with a "gansta" spin. Gansta-licious had Riley walking around with a bra and skirt on, carrying a "man-purse"...thinking that he was looking GANGSTA.
What we see is not really real. Artists go to great measures to hide their "true selves". So we really don't know "who is who" out there. Although I'm your biggest fan...I'm also your biggest critic. Can you deal with that? |

Exactly. But some people in the org are going to take everything you just said completely out of context because they just don't get it.

But the question being posed is: Who cares 'who is who'?
Does a celebrity being gay effect your life? If not, then who the hell is anyone to speculate?
That's like someone coming up to you and saying, "Hey there. Anyone ever told you that your girlfriend looks like Shrek?" Is it their BUSINESS who you choose to love? ACRYLIC

Just don't get it?
I think the gay conspiracy theorists are the ones that are truly clueless. It's laughable.
There is nothing to take out of context from your posts in the first place.

Obviously, a lot of people care about the business of entertainers. Which is why the Enquirer, and other gossip tabloids clear millions if not billions of dollars a year combined. If you don't care that's cool. But a lot of other people are interested.
I don't think very many people "lose sleep" over the matter, but people do have interest. Although I'm your biggest fan...I'm also your biggest critic. Can you deal with that? |

I have to agree with you there. People do in fact show interest in the lives of celebrities. The only thing that I don't seem to comprehend is why upon finding out the sexuality of a celeb, it changes some people's opinions on that particular person.
For instance, assume that we didn't know Wendy Melvoin was a lesbian. For years she played the straight card. You (as in, anyone) found her sexually attractive. She comes out as a lesbian. Why should that one factor, pertaining to a woman that isn't directly in your life, determine whether or not you still find her sexually attractive. Like I mean, people don't just get ugly all of a sudden after stepping out of the metaphorical closet.

if mos is trying to out people, that's a shame. without proof, i don't believe anyone's gay.
And I don't care if they are. People throw "gay" around like it's something bad.
There you go....
Why is it some think people who are homosexual or bi' have to explain themselves anyway? I say, live let live. The Black community is super homophobic and being suspect or having a whisper campaign about your sexuality is considered a slur . . an insult. As I posted before I could care less about who's making love, sleeping with, or fucking who. Hell, trying to get "some" myself.
If found you attractive, sexy or whatever before I knew anything about your sexuality, why would that change?

I guess it's similar to the dynamic that used to occur with heterosexual artists who felt the need to hide the fact that they were married, out of fear of losing fans. In the past, many artists hid that fact as to not "ruin" the fantasy of the fans.
Fans in general are "fickle"....just ask Brittney Spears. One minute shes on top of the world...the next minute she's America's #1 enemy...and she did nothing wrong.
For me, nothing changes the fact that you are an attractive person. However, I'm just no logner sexually attracted. Perhaps the mental visuals play a part. I don't know. Although I'm your biggest fan...I'm also your biggest critic. Can you deal with that? |
