Thanks for telling. I see some parallels with myself in there. I don't think it's so 'out there' but it's possible I'm an intolerable asshole too, but I doubt it. I have to doubt it.

Why can't you apologise if you know you were wrong though? I'm not having a go just to be a smart-ass, but how would that ever be a good thing? You do wrong, you know it, you cop to it and apologise, no? Are you just really stubborn? If you know that you're really stubborn do you try to stop being stubborn or are you cool with it? I can't call bullshit like I used to. I don't recognize it as well. The bluntness in me has gone, where bullshit is concerned. I trust my brain to just meander off in some other direction should it sense bullshit but I'm not as consciously in charge of that process. I think I probably just take it all in, with fact and fiction being blurred to me, and probably treat that bullshitter the same way I do a non-bullshitter and that probably gets me in situations I regret later. I maybe should have been a bit clearer...if I've wronged somebody or done something that has directly affected them in a negative way, I'll apologize but I don't apologize for my point of view or opinion, no matter how wrong it may be....

and I don't really consider myself stubborn...I think you have to be invested in others peoples thinking to be stubborn in that way...and trust me when I say I became less invested each and every day...my give-a-shit meter is down in negative numbers already and I'm pretty sure the batteries will die soon...

Being a person who cut the bulk of people in her life for this, I completely identify with what you said. And nah, it ain't lazy nor selfish, its quite the contrary actually.

As for me:

- I'm extremely a soft hearted woman despite my hard exterior(people always say that I'm a hard bitch, who looks like I'll cut somebody in a heartbeat and sleep like a baby later - 1st impressions are rarely my friends because of this). Funny thing is, those very same people always come back to me for moral & emotional support which has always been a strength I possessed eversince I was a baby, the downside of it is though, it sometimes bring the "neediness" of some of the people I know.

- Being not much of a talker, people confide me in their deepest secrets too(which is def not ALWAYS a good thing), you'll never have to worry about me disclosing your secrets to anybody else.
