i usually get a semi-vegan pizza (ain't all the way vegan cuz of the dairy cheese): green peppers, purple onions and black olives.

Oooohhh, I love pizza!
I make pizza once a week. I start with Vicolo's cornmeal pizza crust. It's great!!! It's precooked, and you can put lots of sauce and toppings on it. Nothing ruins a pizza more than doughy, soggy pizza crust! I usually use my favorite pasta sauce... so many to chose from. I sprinkle some itallian herbs and crushed red peppers. (My boyfriend sometimes uses a pesto spread, instead of pasta sauce. Mmmm) Next, whatever veggies I have in the fridge. My faves are: Black olives Green bell pepers Pineapple Jalapenos Sun-dried tomatoes Marinated artichoke and of course some soy Veggie-roni!!! Now the cheese. I buy this 6 cheese itallian blend by Sargento. (Mozzarella, Provolone, Parmesan and Fontina, plus Romano and aged Asiago.) Sometimes I thrown on some feta as well. Mmmm. | |
