Why do people do this?

They type things like @$$ when they mean ass...

I know people who don't tend to swear who have done this with facebook statuses and stuff. Like they really mean it, but they can't even bring themselves to type a swear word. rolleyes

Actually I've just remembered i've done it recently too. In a conversation with a much older straight-laced person. I felt weird typing the whole word. lol See, I respect the elderly! nod
