What in TARNATION is that!

I remember as a little kid our mothers wouldn let us have them (choking hazzard ) and wanted them SOOOOOOOO bad. When I was finally allowed I ate them like they were going out of style.

I kinda don't like them now.

Slimy balls are soo good! That's why! well.... those are. The outer flesh has a skin that feels like a condom when first licking it. But they do tsate great.

Its a fruit with a lime peel, sorta. You bust open the peel and this fruit pops out... its flesh is a bit slippery at first, but it has a sweet plum like taste. But different. They are hard to stop eating really, I ate en entire bag... like 30... and the kids are mad at me. Its their favorite fruit. Over mangos!

the seed is the ball, the hair is the...pulp? or the hair is covered by the slimy pulp. hard to describe.

No seeds just a pit... they are smallish and good to pop in your mouth, sorta lollipop sized. The flesh turns stringy when you suck the pulp dry. The pulp is slimy and sweet. Interesting texture.

You can usually get them in bunches like these......
