The same reason we dig "stupid human tricks" or Funniest home videos and shows like that.. It's not us getting embarrassed....but I live Wipeout and yes, I will be getting the video game version for the Wii.....

I never saw it before tonight. I was channel-surfing and stopped when I saw the hot-chick host. Got some good laughs watching people get mashed. lol

But I got bored really quickly. Don't think I'll be back.

Tonights wasn't even that great. It's pretty awesome on a regular basis, though. The current season just started last week and it's on both Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Family TV at it's finest!!

My kids LOVE watching people fall, get whacked, get thumped and so on... fun show to watch, not too sure about "be in" though...

I haven't the foggiest idea what you's are talking about.

I mean aboot.

I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure
It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside

The last play I did, a couple of my dressing roommates and I came up with a rating system for theatrical wipe-outs. They are:

The Biff - A biff is a minor wipeout with an element of comedy.

The Bite - To "bite it" is to go down hard. Biting it will only be funny in retrospect. It is not funny in the moment.

The Douche - This is a combination of the first two - a bad wipeout that is just hilarious from the get-go. The kind of wipeout that, if you're watching from the wings, puts you in danger of missing your entrance because you're laughing so hard. Or causes damage to the internal organs from doing the silent laugh. There are two degrees of The Douche - the Single Douche and the Double Douche.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

My kids love that show! What ever happened to "Hole in the wall" ? That show were contestants jump through holes of various shapes in order to prevent themselves from being shoved into a pool of water.
