Thank you Luv, Tina and missmad grouphug.

My bf will get divorced from his wife (they have been seperated for some time) and she wants to have custody for their children alone. She is German and he is Trinidadian, so that makes it a bit complicated. Uusally in Germany parents share custody in case of a divorce and he would have to agree that she gets it alone and I am not sure if he should really do that. As I am Austrian I am not that familiar with German law and could use some help as he asked me to call the German welfare office that contatced him ands talk to them about everything in German for him.

I checked it and I found out Trinidad might not even acknowledge the German divorce sigh. Wow. I need to do more research, if it may be better to get the divorce in Trinidad instead of Germany. I need to find out if that's possible if she would file for divorce in Germany before though hmmm.

I don't know what happened, but it seems to be okay again after I edited it.
