There's never a reason to blurt out the N word, or call someone a faggot, or wish the things he did on his baby mama. And now - he's put that out there. How proud his kids are going to be knowing what a total asshole their father was to their mother. When you degrade the parent of a child, especially when the other parent does it, it totally invalidates the child themselves. The child is a product of both of those parents, and to dismiss half of the fibre of one's being is to dismiss them totally. Mel is a stupid man, and I'll never frequent one of his movies again, past, present, or future.

Not that Im trying to justify anything Mel Gibson, but he got dumped by his agency cause his long time agent died like a week before this hit the fan, so the agency probably didn't know how to deal with it and just took the easy way out, probably had nothing to do with what he actually said.

The new content has Mel admitting to hitting Oksana twice while she was holding their baby daughter, Lucia, Radaronline.com reports.

That's not what I mean, though. Any domestic abuse case these days is always "He got off/will get off easy cuz he's white!" - I remember similar comments for Charlie Sheen. Thing is, Chris Brown got off easy for what he did. He should've done some jail time, no question. Instead he's ordered to pick up litter?! Even before these tapes broke out, Mel Gibson was Hollywood poison after the racist things he said about Jews a few years ago. His apologies didn't do shit to improve his image and now this will destroy any chance he had at winning over the general public again. We know what Chris did yet he's got sympathisers all over (the amount of them on this very site when the incident first occured was disgusting, some abuse victims themselves!). The whole crying episode worked on a lot of people. He's had fans supporting him the whole way.
I'm not seeing where Mel is getting it easier/will get it easier because of his race. Anyone who thinks his career will come back from this when it barely came back from the first incident is deluded. He's done. So is Chris to an extent but, somehow, not in the same way.
