You've put words to something I've been feeling for years now, but am just now understanding on a deeper level. I've never even seen "Passion of The Christ", "Braveheart", or any of the "Mad Max" movies (...in fact "Beyond Thunderdome" has been sitting on my drive for months now - unwatched), and I'm just now realizing why: As much as I always wanted to see those big blockbuster's, the more I've learned about Mel Gibson, the less I've liked him over the years.

And if I just don't like someone (...and there are many actors that fall into that catagory with me), I just can't stomach their movies . Someone mentioned Russell Crowe earlier in the thread - don't like him either, nor have I seen any of his movies beyond "Gladiator", and neither am I likely.
