Lawd hammercy, I can't ever seem to wear pastel colors. This makes wearing oxford button up shirts impossible outside of neutral grey, white, and cream colors. I also can't rock purple of any kind.

Colors that do compliment me are blue, red, green (Christmas colors), black and orange.

Most folks can't rock orange, but I can. The lady below in this photo should be wearing purple or blue or even white. Orange does not compliment her.

What color(s) can you NOT wear?

I don´t own anything green except for an army t-shirt that was given to me by a friend many years ago. I don´t like pastel colors and turqouise or purple.

Blue,red, white and gray and sometimes brown look good on me.

i wear all colors, except neon.

i look awful in hot/flashy colours.

black, different shades of brown and darker shades of green & blue are the colours i look best in.

Orange I can rock -- but with my long black hair it sometimes makes me look a bit... Halloweenish.

I do best in earth tones, at least I thought so for the longest. With the new job, dressing up everyday, I had to get a new wardrobe and so I tried a bunch of colors I normally wouldn't, bright reds, royal blues, purple, etc. and I was happy with the results. Been getting lots of compliments too.

Oh yeah. never look good...pink. I havent tried it and I wont.

Yellow looks aweful on me, even in small doses. And it's my bf's favourite colour . Orange does not look good on me when my hair is brown or dark red. When it is orange-red it looks nice.

Yellow makes me feel like I look like big bird.

I am VERY particular about color.

My wardrobe right now is about 85-90% black with a bit of brown, pink and particular shades of green (especially lime). Although the brown stays in the closet more often than not lately, now that I’m thinking about it. I’ll probably pull those things back out around fall.

Oh, and I wear a bit of white now and again, but I’m strategic about it and it’s always paired with black.

I think I look hideous in blue, except for when my hair was black there was a certain shade of electric blue I liked. That worked. Oh, and I only wore red (for the most part) when I had black hair too. Now it clashes with my hair color.

I LOVE certain shades of yellow, but they just don’t look good on my skin.

I used to rock orange once upon a time, but it has since fallen out of my favor.

So these days I never wear: purple, grey, blue, red (from scarlet to maroon and everything in between), yellow, most shades of green, tan, beige, khaki, orange and really none of the pastels except for the occasional pink.

I'm picky about color, too.

My favorite color is red. But it has to be the right red - either a perfectly clear, primary red or a rich red with a blue undertone. And I love black and charcoal.

I NEVER wear:

Orange

Brown (not to be confused with taupe)

Tan (including khaki)

Cream, Ivory, or any yellowish off-white color

Green (unless it has a blue undertone - like emerald)

Yellow (unless it is a perfectly clear lemon yellow. Nothing gold - I don't even wear gold jewelry.)

Rust

Peach

Orange-, yellow- or pink-tinged reds

Purples that aren't clear (ie, no muddy plums)

Warm pinks or corals

Powder blue

Aqua (or any blue) that is too green

Any gray that has a yellow undertone

pink I look like shit in pink, I freakin' hate pink. unless it's like...HOT pink. but a pale pretty pink.. I look best in jewel tones I can rock a good orange or even yellow. had a lady say to me just the other day "is there a color you don't look good in?" I said yes,....Pink. love wearing green shades and blue shades usually on the darker side and I love black. I love brown but not particualarly as a shirt color.

I can make any color look good. It's certain stripes, prints and patterns I can't rock.
