I've tried something...okay, a few things...that look very much like that spread-open one back there with the little bump on top.

We saw how Cherry Mash is made on an episode of Unwrapped, and after that Chris was on a straight mission to find one!

We finally found them in a candy store on Treasure Island Beach, the same candy store where we took pictures on our wedding day. They had all kinds of cool stuff I hadn't seen since I was a kid, and some candies I only remembered from stories my grandparents would tell. Very cool.

The Cherry Mash was a little bit of sugar overload for my taste, but Chris and his mom loved them.

Yes, they are very sweet, the mini ones are dangerous! To easy to sugar overload!

I LOVE candy stores like that! We just had one open up by me! Now you know why I have to run 5 miles a day..
