WHO here does NOT REGULARLY use SUNSCREEN?
(the woman above appears to not regularly use the stuff)
I just realized that I don't regularly use the stuff. And my skin suffers for it. I've been lucky because my face looks years younger than it should at my age, but I've also been testing fait as I rarely use it---sure I apply it when I go out in nature, or to the beach. But, not on a daily basis.

I don't, though I suppose it wouldn't hurt whenever I'll be outside for a stretch. I suspect it's something darker-skinned people don't think about as often as white folk, but it shouldn't be ignored. I've been sunburned before -- and that stuff HURTS! [Edited 6/23/10 17:26pm] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

that girl has a natural shade for her legs!
I use it on my face every day, but probably miss the ears, sometimes miss the hands, arms. And they do look older than the rest of me. My Legacy

I wear it if I'm golfing in the middle of the day. A round of golf takes 4 to 5 hours, so if I don't use sunscreen, I'll fry.
Otherwise, I don't bother. But I make sure my shoulders are covered, since I've had one bout of basal cell carcinoma on my left shoulder. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I wear it on my face every single day. I used to wear spf 30 and went down to 15 recently and learned I need to go back to 30 as I can see faint freckles forming.
I ensure the rest of my skin is covered the vast majority of the time.
If it's hot enough out that I'm gonna show any other skin I wear at least 30+, usually 50+. |

I even have to put it on my scalp at the part of my hair.

Funny story:
When they were small, I used to keep my daughters' hair braided, so there was a network of scalp exposed to the sun. On a vacation to Florida, my mother was taking them to the pool and I asked her to help them put on sunscreen.
"And don't forget to rub some into their parts," I reminded her.
My mother paused.
"...won't their bathing suits cover that?"

I don't use it...ever. | |

I don't use it regularly, only if I know I'm going to be in the sun a lot, say if I'm sunbathing or walking on a beach or something. I know that living here I probably should use it a lot more. MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!!

Constantly. In snow, on cloudy days, and every day use. I've had basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell and it's not fun having that removed. I don't care about the freckles. Always had them. Not anymore though.

I use moisturizer with spf in it.
I guess it helps when I put it in the morning and not just before bed.

Unfortunately, I don't....but due to genes, I figure I'll have young looking skin for a long time. A lot women in my family never use sunscreen or anti-aging creams, and still look years younger than their real age. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

I use it when I am going to be exposed to a lot of sun like at the beach but I do not use it on a daily basis. It is very expensive here in the UK, they call it sun cream or something like that.
I bought some for the baby but it causes his eczema to flare. I need to find some organic stuff that is not full of chemicals.

I have to, despite being Indian I burn so quickly, it's annoying because I really want a tan and I refuse to use that fake tan stuff

You do know that any tan is basically sun-burn right?

I never get sunburned. When I go to the sea or anywhere in the nature I always protect my face, neck and shoulders, but that's it. Those parts of my body may get slightly red when unprotected and exposed to strong sun for the first time but the next day the skin is tanned.

What kind do you use for the baby? It might help to use a mineral sunscreen - one containing titanium dioxide or zinc oxide (which is in diaper rash cream) - rather than a chemical sunscreen. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Yes, I was desperate for something that day and went into the chemist. All they had were the major big brand sunscreens. Charged an arm and a leg for something I cannot use. I need to order something more natural for him.
