I'd been assured the hard winter had killed the little fuckers, but apparently it's done more damage to their natural predators, so they're flourishing!

Midges love me. sad

Those pesky midge's they so love to bite... Find a spray or cream with neem oil in, that worked the last time I was in the highlands.

Avon Skin So Soft. It didn't do much for me, but others swear by it. You'll find this in most highland retail outlets at 4 x RRP.

Is it? I always thought mozzies and midges were different confused

(it's wonderful there though, isn't it? I had a holiday there a few years ago - such a beautiful place)

aaaaah the scottish midgie!

Now I'm Scottish, but with Italian heritage which means I am less susceptible to these wee gobshites (so I tell the birds anyway).

My wife is, however, a genuine pasty faced Scot, the type who doesn't tan but goes a beautiful shade of red and comes out in loads of wee bumps when faced with the natural enemy that is the midgie.

The only way to get rid of them is to swing a glass bottle of Irn Bru at them and shout (insert place you come from) YA BASS!!!

I used to work in an abattoir. I loved it there!

woot!

disbelief

Mine's is a very humane, organic midge farm. I only farm them for their pelts, which are used to make sporrans.

Not to jack your thread, Steadwood, but did you know they are making an entire movie on Trolls??? smile woot! nuts

Troll dolls may not be much to look at, redface but neither is Shrek the Ogre, and DreamWorks Animation has made major bank off his swampy story.

The studio has struck a deal with Dam Things - the company behind the Good Luck Trolls - to bring the squat, frizzy-haired, kinda creepy toys to the big screen.

THR reports that DreamWorks has hired brother and sister duo Adam Wilson and Melanie Wilson LaBracio to write the screenplay, and Dannie Festa will executive produce.
