My partners cousin wanted to invite me to go camping with them for July 4th and we planned on going since Janurary.

Well there is a little bit of beef between them and he did not take off the weekend either because of it. Now that July 4th is coming my partner does not want to go anymore but I did at least...

Now it will only cost $35 and everything is paid 4. I wanna have a good time but not if it will make my partner upset and cause irritation in the relationship. What would u do? My partner told me why they have a very off course friendship and it has to do with his cousin basically taking his ex boyfriend from him..and his cousin admittingly has been doing the same to me....I feel like Im being pulled in two places

I wouldn't go camping full-stop. We have hotels now.

I'd keep the peace at home and stay put.

From experience, I wouldn't go anywhere with my partner if I knew that person was just going to sulk.

I spent nearly a thousand US dollars on a weekend excursion to a seaside town only to have my partner sulk the entire time and make absolutely no effort to show me a good time in his own damned country. So yeah, don't even bother doing it if your partner is going to find something to moan about. It can be exhausting.

if you love your partner, you wont do something purposely to hurt his feelings.

from what i've read, it seems as if you have your answer. or at least one that would make most sense. if you're partner didn't want to go, just beacause; then i'd say go and enjoy yourself. but since there's "beef" between them and the cousin appears to be a 'man-stealer', i'd ask if risking your relationship for a $35 dollar trip worth it.

Exactly. At home I know how the remote control works, I can make a cup of tea without everything being in sachets and taking a can of lager out the fridge doesn't cost me £6.
