I love food and love to eat. I will try anything once. If I don't like it, I know not to mess with it again, but I'm usually game for anything that is meant to be eaten.

In general, yes. But only if she´s clean and not smelly. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

LOL, glad to know I wasn't the only one that saw it that way!
By the way, that's a testament to the usual nature of GD threads. It's NOT a reflection on how we think!

Ooooh. Nice, fresh curds that squeak on your teeth. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Okay I get it now. I don´t like stuff that´s been touched too much ( unless the person is Japanese...for some strange reason, I don´t mind Japanese people touching my food).Sounds weird. And I don´t like grease, animal fat, lard etc. Okra and slimey stuff is not for me and I don´t eat pork, cats, dogs and snails. Other than that, I eat almost anything but I´m thinking about becoming a dedicated vegetarian again like I used to be.
And I can´t stand oversugared sweet stuff. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Lard is delicious - and is actually pretty good for you. Again, as long as it hasn't been hydrogenated.

That's kind of unfair/judgmental because everyone who eats meat is not automatically void of conscience. As mentioned above, I have food allergies. I can't have soy, or beans & nuts, so I would not get enough protein without some kind of meat. (My doctor originally advised me against giving up red meat, but I didn't want to eat it anymore).

I read a book not too long ago, in which the author told of going to China to study complementary medicine (she's an MD who wanted to know more about Chinese herbs and acupuncture). She was a vegetarian at the time. The Chinese doctor she was going to study with examined her and told her she needed to eat more meat. She replied that she was a vegetarian and didn't eat meat because of ethical concerns. He told her....
Meat is not food. It is medicine. [Edited 6/22/10 14:07pm] We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Nah, the thing about a conscience is that it's very personal. No judgement whatsoever. I'm talking about me and me alone. |

I just hate when I'm eating something and someone starts preaching. That includes telling me how much sugar, fat, or artificial whatever is in it... If it's personal, keep it that way. I eat what I want, you do the same (not directed toward you guys- hopefully you understand what I mean. I'm sure it's annoying when people comment on your vegetarian diet ) "Love Hurts. I cannot stand when I'm eating something and people feel they have the right to critique it. My mother has done it my whole life -- she's vegetarian, borderline vegan, eats all Organic, etc. She feels that it is her place to comment on everything I put in my mouth. She's done it from the time that I was a small child straight through into adulthood.
"Yes, Mother, I realize that this bacon double cheeseburger is bad for me. I understand the fat content, salt intake, calories, and how morally incorrect it is to eat another living creature in this day and age. Thank you for your concern. What you don't understand is that I don't care."
Hate, hate, hate that! I do nothing professionally. I only do things for fun. johnart: Acrylic's old bras is where tits of all sizes go to frolic after they die. Tit Heaven.

I'm with Carrie, basically. If you consider a vegan health nut to be a picky eater, then yes, I am.
But I really just think that most other people are indiscriminate to the point of insanity with what they put in their bodies, while I'm a very reasonable eater.
As far as what I'd consider pickiness, I do hate pickled/brine-y things. That's about it. "What's 'non-sequitur' mean? Do I look it up in a Fag-to-English dictionary?"

top of my list would be seafood. my body just doesn't react well to it or it's smell. it really makes me sick in the stomach.
i also do not eat chicken (unless it's boneless, then maybe), eggs, jams, butter, honey, olives, sweet peppers, goat cheese, raw meats and anything that touches celery.
that said, i'm actually an easy guy to feed coz what i do like i do not get sick of easily.
