Any one else allergic to bees???? I found out Sunday that I am allergic to bee stings!!!
I trod on one and my pinky toe looked like a golf ball…. I had to wear thongs (relax Yanks flip flops) to work yesterday and it was so cold….....no I didn’t do the Prince thing and wear socks with them…Please!
Luckily today I’m at home and my it has settled down – so tomorrow it should be ok for boots….I hope! | |

I think I got stung once when I was little and it hurt like a needle when it happened, but it didn't swell up.
An in-law of mine is actually allergic, it can make them very ill. | |

I had to take Antihistamine and apply anti itch cream....it's still swollen and itches like crazy! Doc said it should be ok in 1 week | |

Add that to the list of "Things Lynn is Allergic To".
I've been stung twice... Both times yielded a violent reaction. Thank God I didn't go into Anaphylaxis. (I mentioned in the mosquito thread that I have an ugly reaction that hurts, not itches.

I have handled flowers right next to my mom's beehive in her yard (bumblebees) and even though they are aggressive, I was never stung. I used to catch them and hold them too, still do. I love bees. | |
