Okay here's my synopsis:

  • What the fuck is up with Sam's half brother? Is he really that fucked up or is he just jealous of Sam?
  • Is it me or is Eric looking better and better with each episode? lick Shucks forget Bill, Sookie better tap dat ass on Eric to see how his dick works. nod Besides, Bill doesn't even know they are engaged yet.
  • That 3-course blood meal was just as classy as it wanted to be. Had me curious about what it tasted like...yeah i know boxed
  • Dang that Alfie Woodard can act her ass off!!! She really had me hating her when she was talking so badly about Lafayette.
  • So is Tara's new Vamp friend going to turn her into a Vamp?
  • Okay was it real or was it a fantasy when bill threw that lamp at Lorena and put her ass on fire???
  • How insanely cute is Godric? drool
  • I'm loving the passion Hoyt has for Jessica. nod
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

This blood wasn't taken by force and the donors dined on citrus for weeks. Some funny shit.

Tara stays human if AB follows the book in any way.

I think it was a fantasy...very cool scene though and nice way to keep us guessing.

It was a good episode. I have to think that the scene @ the end where Bill burns Lorena is only in his mind (the King of Mississippi would stake Bill on-the-spot if he'd done that).

So...you think "Bubba" will make an appearance on the show?

I WISH Bubba would be on the show. I love him in the books, but AB has said that Bubba will not be on True Blood. AB says it would look too corny....like an impersonator. I can see his point, but I think he could do it just never actually showing Bubba in full view.

*****BOOK TALK BELOW w/SPOILERS*****

There was the scene last week in the teasers that showed Bill shirtless...dirty...on a deserted road staggering.

You should have seen me! In my mind I saw that as Bill getting Eric's amnesia!!! I was pissed Turns out it was Bill getting away from the kidnappers in the car!

lol

I think that the "Operation Werwolf" is setting up Eric's memory loss beg Instead of it being witches that curse him, I think the Werwolf storyline is headed that way. I think Franklin Mott is who Eric was looking for in the flashback. Just my guess.

Yeah that tonk

Now that i've read the books I'm not thrilled with the deviations with Sookie, Bill, and Eric's storylines. There was a lot to work with there. And this whole engagement thing is dumb especially since in the books Sookie repeatedly whines about not being able to legally marry Bill even tho he ain't asked her. They coulda just stuck with the geneology story and the werewolves and thrown in some surprises and it woulda been hella juicy. Now, I don't know. hmmm

I know! There's alot about the books that would have worked just fine on the show, but it AB had just stuck with the books, Lafayette would be dead. Some of the changes work for me and some of them have me pissed

nod I actually like how the supporting characters are dealt with on the show. All of them have good storylines and divert just enough time away from the principals.

But he coulda stuck closer to the book for the main ones cuz I'd love to see those stories in live action. tonk
