good for her. She knew she was wrong. Not to excuse the officers reaction but still. Good for her.

Why should she have to? The cop overstepped boundaries in a pretty big way. If anything he should be apologizing to her.

Fucking pigs.

Because the more time goes by, the less respect and trust I have for police.

I know enough police officers personally to know that they're not all bad. Many individual officers are just good people trying to do their job. But I also know enough to know that many, many of them are power-hungry and corrupt, and that the police as an institution are not to be trusted.

she was in the wrong before the officer was. She owes an apology. She may be owed one herself. But if not for her and her friend breaking the law and then fighting and resisting the police it never would have happened.

Good for her for apologizing but the cop needs to apologize as well also.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I understand why he may not. Sadly in our world an apology is taken as an admission of guilt.

He's guilty of being an over-eager, violent jackass. He should apologize.

I disagree.

A teenage girl got in a grown man's face. Yes, she was wrong for that, but the proper response is NOT to punch her in the face. It'd be wrong if it was two civilians, and it's an even more wrong response because said grown man is a cop.

A police officer has a responsibility to be the bigger person in situations like that. He retaliated like some kind of socially impaired little boy.
