Why do church bells ring at 12:45? I figured someone on here might know this. I've been out of catholic school for almost 15 years now, and I can't recall the reason/symbolism for this.
can anyone clue me in? | |

Why do people get excited when it's 4:20? It seems stupid to me. I saw the worlds worst movie, The Ring, last weekend and the kid behind me got VERY excited when the clock in one scene read 4:20. The funny thing is that it actually read 4:19.
Sorry I can't help with the 12:45 thing, but as another sidenote a church by my college used to have a bell that played songs. You would be walking to class and you would hear the Star Wars theme (or whatever) coming from the church. It was quite odd.

Isn't 4:20 the universal pot smoking time...? Like somewhere around the world, a bunch of people are smoking at the same time around the world.
Don't know about the 1245 bell ringing. "Great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion" -- Martha Graham
