Happy 32nd birthday Garfield America's and the world favourite cat is 32 today. The first Garfield cartoons appeared in 50 papers on June 19th 1978, since then Garfield has become a commercial behemoth with books, cartoons, DVD's and two less than critically or commercially acclaimed movies. Being a child of the 80s I practitcally grew up with Garfield merchandise, including the famous "Stuck on you Garfield".
Does anyone else have Grafield Memories? So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time | |

Love the comic strips, altho I haven't read them in years. The looks he give kills me everytime, something about his eyes tells it all. I have a little Garfield collection. 
should I bumrush Garfield's birthday thread to say I think he's the most overrated cat ever?
