Word is the Nets would either trade the pick or draft Wesley Johnson. They wouldn't need Cousins or Favors if they signed Amar'e.

I've heard this Russian cat in interviews - dude isn't fucking around. He wants the Nets to be major players in the NY metro area. If they were already in Brooklyn, he'd make a serious run at LeBron. I wish Prokhorov owned the Knicks. He actually built a business from the ground up, unlike Brain-Dead Dolan, who's rich daddy handed him the Knicks and let him run the franchise into the ground.

Can you imagine the numbers Doc, Skywalker, Iceman, The Big O and Mr. Clutch would put up in today's soft-ass NBA, with the rule changes that favor wing players? It would be insane!

From the 60s to around the early 90s, the quality of the game was so much better than it is now.

This what happens when u expand 2 much. The NBA could stand 2 shrink by 6 to 8 teams and stop drafting 18-19 year olds. Then we would see a big jump in QUALITY hoops again.

Carmelo's thinking about re-upping with Denver instead of testing free agency next year. He must be worried about a possible lockout.
