Bhateri Devi is overjoyed to become a mother after 44 years of marriage, and has welcomed two boys and a girl into the world. Bhateri's husband Deva Singh, 64, was quoted as saying 'Bhateri has fulfilled my dream of having a child and gave my family an heir.' Deva had married twice, and Bhateri was his first wife, but this is the first time he has become a father. Bhateri became pregnant after undergoing IVF treatment at the National Fertility Centre in Hisar. She was successful on only the third try.The news follows yesterday's story of the world's oldest mother, Rajo Debi Lohan, who recently revealed she is dying after undergoing fertility treatment at the age of 70. The triplets were born dangerously underweight at 1.1kg, 1kg and 0.7kg, and they're currently in intensive care.

So sad on so many levels. Poor children. im happy for her and it seems she went through alot to bring them in to this world
children are a blessing no matter who births them

Interesting....i totally understand where guys are coming from
but it seems like she intended to have kids at early age and she couldnt
it took until 66 to get them
but you got think about her culture and where she came from and her circumstances
we dont know she could have been pressured, we just dont know the little details
i just hope she knows whats she getting her old ass into
