SINCE VASECTOMIES ARE REVERSIBLE.....

Should they be mandatorily performed on teen males maybe starting at 14 up to 19 so as to curb teen pregnancies? It's a less invasive surgery than tubal ligation and apparently we can't by and large trust teen girls to take birth control pills. Also said pills may increase their risks for breast cancer. Also I'm not sure how successful the rate of pregnancy is upon reversing a tubal ligation. So what say you? Snip them little fuckers since they can't keep their shit strapped and all too often take no responsibility once the bun is in the oven?

This is the org ethical question of the day.

PROCEED.

How about more education....and more condoms..

Mandatory vasectomies?

that's insane. to force surgery on anyone against their will is insane.

I'm all for voluntary vasectomies. We should be encouraging those as much as possible.

no ....teens are too stupid and hormonally charged working off adrenalin. they don't use the condoms we give them and they fall asleep in sex ed class. the ones that stay awake are too busy giggling and flirting.

carry on.

plus condoms break. heck ...that's how i got here. lol allegedly.

No. Reversals are not 100% guaranteed, and there is a slight risk of erectile dysfunction I believe. To fuck up someone's life because what they MIGHT have done is not okay.

Aren't these males going to get erectile dysfunction eventually? Wait....if some horny dude can't keep his schlong in his pants....isn't that also a form of erectile dysfunction (the reverse)? hmmm fuck up someone's life. That's kind of the end result with all these teen baby mothers and their offspring who have a greater risk of becoming ill equipped teen parents/high school dropouts as well no?

Why put the onus on the male population???

It take 2 to make a baby.

And why is it up to the schools to teach teens about the birds and the bees??? Darn lazy ass parents.

Because the onus has for far too long been on the female. The schools have pretty much volunteered to teach the kids because either the parents are lazy or the schools don't like what the parents teach.

Plus it's just plain easier for the males. Not much is involved with them to make a baby and not much is involved to keep them from making babies. We would be doing the earth a favor. Population control. The only reason we have so many people is become the males spread so much of their seed - often amongst several females at once. There was a thread in here not long ago about some dude in family court for owing child support on over 2 dozen kids. Some of his women didn't even know he had so many other mates and offspring.

yep....gotta get them boyz and get em young. nod

Of course I have issues with men. What woman doesn't? lol I just think the time has come for the brunt of birth control to be on the man's shoulders. Women have been cut up, drugged up, knocked up and criticized for too damn long. Let's let the guys have to be constantly thinking about pregnancy.

In fact.... how about pre-child support? What about setting up an account for a certain percentage of all men's earnings and have it be used for child support for any bratz they may accidentally bring in to the world. That way the female doesn't have to worry about taking the dude to court. Money is already there.

the other org ethical question of the day.

Pre-birth child support. Shall the government (in case the vote on mandatory vasectomy fails) deduct a percentage of a man's earning for any future children he brings into the world?

Vasectomies won't stop the spread of disease.

If you get a teenage boy a vasectomy, but he has unprotected sex with a girl who has syphilis, it's not helping the cause.

Alot of teenagers aren't going to listen -- they're going to have sex no matter what we hammer into their heads (hell, we've all done it). You just have to hope that your son/daughter has enough brain cells to wrap it before they tap it.

And although this may sound strange, from the perspective of a woman who had a child while in my teenage years -- my pregnancy was the BEST thing that could have happened to me. It made me mature, get my shit together, learn responsibility, and keep my ass out of trouble. A human life depending on you can have that effect. Clearly, not something we should ENCOURAGE; just a tidbit on how it effected ME.

I am NOT promoting teen pregnancy or sex. Just giving my twocents

lol got it. but um....i think you are an exception to the rule. a lovely one though. wink

yes...vasectomies won't stop the spread of disease but we're talking teen pregnancy. since these bratz aren't going to wrap their schlongs anyway....disease is just a given.

I am currently writing a paper about sex education in schools and teen pregnancy. I truly feel that we need more education concerning sex, pregnancy and all the birth control options out there. I also feel that schools should be allowed to hand out condoms. I don't feel it's "telling" the teenager to have sex, I think it's saying be smart!

They do this in NYC and LA and still there is too high a teen pregnancy rate. Clearly sex ed and free condoms are not enough. There's a maturity that lacking...naturally so....their teensand still kids. That's why I say snip that shit. Heck in my state it's mandatory for girls to get the HPV vaccine even though there haven't been enough long term studies on the affects and supposedly the pharmaceutical company behind the vaccine were the ones pushing for it to be required in the schools. Merk I think is the company. shrug Soooo....if we can force that without knowing all the long term side affects, offering a choice or other option to the girl and her parents or worrying about future fertility then why not give the boys a temporary vasectomy?

Only problem with that kind of surgery are the risks involved. So something like that will never happen. I agree about the maturity of the teen and deciding to have sex. I think also feel education shouldn't just be with the schools, parents need to talk to their kids. That what I did with my own. I didn't want them to make the same choices I made, I tried to get them to learn from my past...and so far its worked.

That will never happen as long as women are the ones who get pregnant.

I would never trust a man to handle the birth control. He could be the most conscientious man in the world - and he still wouldn't care about avoiding pregnancy as much as I. Men just don't think that far ahead. I'm sorry, but they don't.

how about women stop giving up pussy to no account fools.....

teach your daughters...no job, no pussy, no education, no pussy, no morals, no pussy, teach women how to make men beg for pussy and ackrite! If all of us women unified on this it would have never been a problem

the first time a man opened his mouth to say he was superior a woman should've been right there saying....if I have no rights you gets no pussy!

maybe we need to designate National No Pussy Month! I bet wars would end, the BP oil spill would get cleaned up, and world famine would end!

(might have to lock some goats up for a minute in some countries though.....)

seriously though, young women should be taught to value their bodies!!! don't put this on young men. teach young women how to make men work to get the pussy and teach young men that pussy ain't for free.

That's right. In fact, there is a very slim chance that a reversed vasectomy will be successful at all. I've had one, and the medical staff consulted with me several times to make sure it's what I really wanted to do since it's almost guaranteed you'll never get a woman pregnant again.

The man running away is only half of it. It also leaves the woman with one hell of a decision.

A decision I made damn sure I'd never have to make.
