What's your favorite fish to eat?

My favorite is Croaker. I'm on my way to the seafood market to get some

later. I also like spots, bass, flounder and red snapper but

snapper is so damn expensive. I love fresh fish. I'm not to crazy about

that frozen shit you by out the grocery store.

Salmon (both cooked and sushi). I prefer wild salmon but I like the farmed variety too.

A close second would probably Rainbow Trout.

I can only do Salmon if it is done on the grill. I really don't care for baked salmon but

is good if cooked and seasoned right.

Have you ever had it pan-seared (like in the pic I posted)? It's heavenly. Nothing at all like the dry, flaky texture of baked salmon.

It's what you make it.

I just started that fancy for sushi a couple of years ago but dare to try anything

different than the shrimp sushi. I'm just afraid to try raw fish. lol

I'm having an absolutely gigantic piece of salmon for dinner tonight. My second favourite meal (prime rib takes all comers for me).

Yeah, that right there.

I'll take the salmon grilled, baked, or pan-seared. I love it all. I just found some spicy mango sauce that cooks up right nice with the salmon. I'm addicted to that right now.

Probably walleye - though bluegill and lake perch are damn tasty, too.

Love salmon and halibut. Baked salmon should be moist if done right. When I do baked halibut I pour Orange Juice over it with onions and when its' done it's juicy and quite tasty.

I usually eat salmon at least 3 times a week. The way I normally cook it is covered in Pepper and Dill on the stove. Grilling salmon can be great too!

Now, I'm hungry. confused

I have a friend that loves tilapia but will not eat cat fish. Even farm raised catfish. He says "catfish are unclean!" I say "but tilapia is a by product of catfish farms, they live off of the waste of catfish!"

his answer: "but tilapia have fins and scales and are thus clean." I asked "would you eat a cow that was fed pig crap?" He changed the subject.

I don't think I've met a fish I don't like. Especially tasty are tilapia and rainbow trout. I really like striper (rockfish) too--just make sure it's deep fried and that the red stripe in the meat has been removed.

I like stuff that isn't popualr but delish..

Bluefish is my favorite... it has a strong flavor and quite buttery. Its the best fish for the grill.

Close seconds would be tuna steaks and swordfish and shark. LOVE those.

The shark I don't eat anymore because I'm trying to eat fish responsibly. I no longer eat wild caught salmon either... even though the farmed is pale in flavor and taste.

I don't care for fried fish, but I will make an exception for fried haddock; haddock caught here is too beautiful to resist from buying especially when the pieces are over 2 1/2ft. long.

That's it! I'm making fish tomorrow... drooling

nod !!! With fried sweet plaintains on the side drooling

When I bake my salmon I put it in a creamy blue cheese sauce and top it with oyster stuffing and bake it casserole style... it comes out moist that way.
