Same here. Disney was too cute and innocent. barf Warner Brothers was mean as hell! I used to love watching Bugs Bunny's mean ass. My favorite was when that redneck with the red mustache was chasing him in some castle. Somehow, the redneck ended up standing on stilts in a pit full of lions. Bugs Bunny just calmly and politely threw down a bunch of saws and said "Here lions". You could hear sawing and watch the expression on his face as he went lower and lower into the pit and then you heard lions roaring and saw shredded clothes flying in the air. evillol

Bugs Bunny was mean as hell. I remember he was having a bull fight and he got a big board, lifted the bull's tail, and slapped him dead across the ass. Bugs Bunny was always dressing in drag too. And that damn bird and cat was another favorite of mine. I remember when the cat was chasing the bird while a bulldog was chasing the cat in a street full of traffic. They all three ended up in the hospital with broken legs. That mean ass cat went over to the dog in the hospital bed and hit his broken leg with a baseball bat. falloff

Speaking of cartoons, Pink Panther was another favorite of mine. That was a one cool ass cat.

Tweety was pretty evil too. He'd light Sylvester on fire then hose him with gasoline. Sick, twisted and funny.

Now back in the day, many of those mold WB cartoons were filled with racist stereotypes. They did a spoof on Snow White called 'Coal Black an de Sebben Dwarfs'.

That's probably those that I used to see on WTBS when I was growing up and they were called "Merry Melodies". I hated those. They were so boring. The cartoons were always singing and on the rare times that they showed the characters I was familiar with such as Bugs Bunny, he didn't even look the same. He was thinner and talked slightly different. Thinking back, yes, I think I saw some racist images on some of those but I was too young to really know what I was looking at. All I knew at the time was that I was bored to death with those songs the cartoons were singing.

The ones I was really into was the Bugs Bunny show that used to come on in the 1970s that had an actual intro and theme song at the front of the show with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Porky Pig on the stage dancing and singing the theme song.

Warner Brothers for live-action movies; not necessarily children's movies.

Disney for classic cartoons.

WARNER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disney characters have never, ever made me laugh even on accident. I wish Donald Duck would roll around barbed wire with Magic Johnson.

Warner Bros. for short TV episodes

but Disney has come CLASSIC movies (though I hate the dated and definitely sappy 40s films, Dumbo? Bambi? Give a break!!! give me some Robin Hood or Lion King instead...)

In this case I will go with both WB and Disney. So call it a tie I guess.

I second this emotion ^^^

• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

I like them all, disney, warners, flimation, hanna barberra. Don't like anime (well the old school ones such as battle of the planets/ star blazers/ voltron were good).

Definitely Warner Bros. for me. I just saw an exhibit at my local art gallery of Warner Bros. cartoon art and they also had a screening room. I laughed my ass off!

Me too. I still watch them when they come on (which is a rarity), and I can tell my wife and kids what's about to happen or I will quote the next line on almost every cartoon. I bet there aren't more than a few toons I haven't seen at least a dozen times. I do the same thing with Tom and Jerry cartoons.

GENIUS !!!!!

http://en.wikipedia.org/w...ra,_Doc%3F

What's Opera, Doc? is a 1957 American animated cartoon short in the Merrie Melodies series, directed by Chuck Jones for Warner Bros. Cartoons. The Michael Maltese story features Elmer Fudd chasing Bugs Bunny through a 6:11 operatic parody of 19th century classical composer Richard Wagner's operas, particularly Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung) and Tannhäuser. It is sometimes characterized as a condensed version of Wagner's Ring (also known as the "Ring Cycle"), and its music borrows heavily from the second opera Die Walküre, woven around the standard Bugs-Elmer conflict.

I used to love going to the WB store in Birmingham (UK), it had this spaceship in there and loads of stuff to play with. I was so sad when they closed it down especially now I'm an adult I have more money to spend in there compared to when I was a child. So unfair lol

My fave part of the job there was vegging out at the front door greeting customers as they came in....while watching the wall of monitors playing WB cartoons.......and they called it work!! LOL!!

I'm so jealous! I bet it was a lot of fun working there. The Disney store was too much for me, it's prettier but just not as cool.
